I'm Rohail Shabir - this isn't my first agency job
Before I built websites for small businesses, I spent my career on the other side of the industry: inside agencies, doing SEO for other people's clients.
I've spent 5+ years in the digital space, agency-side at Flaunt Digital, a Leeds-based, B Corp-certified digital agency, where I worked as a Technical SEO Executive. Before that, I worked at GRM Digital, another specialist SEO and web agency. In both roles the job was the same: make sites Google can actually crawl, understand, and want to rank - not just sites that look good.
My background started in QA - testing sites and catching the things that break them - before I moved fully into SEO and, specifically, technical SEO: page speed, structured data, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, the parts of a website that don't show up in a screenshot but decide whether it ranks at all.
That's the actual reason this website exists. Most small businesses get sold a nice-looking template with none of that underneath. I build the version with it underneath - because it's the part of the job I've spent my career doing, and it's the part most cheap website offers skip.
